What is in a 30-minute consultation you ask? I will share an insight into what a one-on-one self-awareness mentoring session could look like for you.

I share how an extended DISC profile and self-awareness mentoring session differs from a more traditional coaching approach. How each tool and self-awareness method deeply benefits you, your business, and how it leads to success. How? Well, I will deep dive into a “needs assessment” and explain to you what an extended DISC is and the benefits to you. Plus go over the various coaching models
I use to give you the best strategies to meet your needs.

A needs assessment is a process, which is in itself a key self-awareness tool. A need assessment is such a great place to start a mentoring session because it allows you to bring your awareness from the external realms into your inner landscape.

From here, you can drop out of your head and anchor more fully into your body. So you can open up and really feel, without the distractions of your monkey mind. When we work from a place of clarity, we can then become more sensitive to your internal landscape. How you are feeling inside and we can use this to uncover any surface stress or tension that masks what you really are looking for. If we didn’t we would not be using our time wisely in our coaching sessions. I explain the extended DISC assessment so we can decide on the best extended DISC profile for you. You will learn how you can change your natural behaviour to accommodate certain circumstances. 

It is an acronym for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance.

This behavioural analysis does not provide results that classify people. It has been around for over 40 years and made a positive impact on people who use this knowledge. My clients have been overwhelmed with the changes they have made after struggling with not being happy with this status quo, but not knowing how they can make a change.

There are no good or bad categories. The system does not rank people in any way. All the information in the eDISC report is derived from your natural behavioural style. 

It is a behavioural style that takes the least energy and effort, requires the least amount of concentration and is usually the most comfortable for you. It is the mode that you normally use to react and it’s most frequently exhibited outwardly in your behaviour. This behavioural analysis divides all the different behavioural styles into four main styles, and then further down into 16 distinct styles. 

These styles are not better nor worse from each other. Each of the styles has its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, the D style which is “Dominance” is competitive, aggressive, decisive, and results-oriented, but can also be impatient, overbearing, and rude. It is important to note that from here our sessions could take numerous different paths. A bit like a create your own adventure novel. 

From here we could use a number of different coaching models including the “Critical Alignment Model” and “Meta Dynamics.” This is specifically used in the disruptive leadership program. The “Transformation Model,” which helps us uncover any thought, feeling, behaviour, behaviour cycles that may be keeping you stuck. We use neuro-linguistic programming. 

As it suggests, we change the language around what your beliefs are and anchor new beliefs in your mind and body. The “Dare Model,” is a coaching model that we can use as our coaching tool, to explore how you can create change in your life. “Achieving Authentic Success Program.” 

Now, this program is about 10x life principles that will maximise your real potential. This program can be used with young adults planning on achieving leadership goals in school and beyond. I cannot stress anymore how incredibly powerful, potent, and effective this extended DISC and Meta Dynamic Mentoring sessions are.
